discovery!!!

Am I behind the times in learning that I no longer need to buy microwave popcorn from the store?

That stinky-chemicals-left-on-my-fingers-leaves-an-awful-smell-in-the-microwave-for-days popcorn that I have been hearing recently may no longer be safe to eat?

My discovery that I had to share...popcorn kernels popped in a brown paper bag in the microwave.


1/4 cup kernels
1/4 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Sprinkle of salt

(I've been told this can be made without the oil, just the kernels but I have yet to try that)


Mix kernels with oil and salt
        Pour into brown paper bag
         Fold bag with a few tiny folds


Pop for the usual microwave time (2 1/2 minutes)


Voila!
