took this photo just before boarding our flight last night.
we were so happy to be heading home.
george was on hyper-active mode both flights.
every 10 minutes he looked down and exclaimed 'i see california mom, that's it, we're here'.
it was a long flight.
i was craving a moment to close my eyes.
10 minutes before landing in l.a. george fell into a DEEP sleep.
with george slung over my shoulder, hunching over so that i could pull his little carry-on he continued to sleep as we walked through the hustle and action of the los angeles airport and met up with travis.
9 weeks away from home.
my pillow never felt so comfortable.
there's no place like home.
