Hard to believe that today is Friday. It's Friday and we are in the middle of October!
The days and the weeks are seeming to speed up.
Lately George refers to things in the past as happening "last night".
"Remember last night when we were eating breakfast with our cousins?"
"Remember last night when we saw Santa Claus?"
"Remember last night Mom, when I was a baby?"
It's funny, George...that does feel like last night.
The moments are fleeting aren't they?
The days are filled with 'I need to be there in 10 minutes', 'I have to finish this first', 'It's time to go now, we'll do it later'.
Today I made a point of no 'to do's' and woke up to a day with not one thing planned.
It was lovely.
We spent many moments on this bed, reading through all of Travis' old "Bernstein Bears Books" from when he was George's age.
I feel so very blessed to be this sweet guy's mom and know that these moments where he just wants to be reading and being at home with his mom will not last forever.
Soon these moments will be a memory from "last night".
