We are all excited that May has arrived!
It looks to be a very exciting month for all of us. Birthdays to celebrate, weekend adventures to get excited for, planting in the garden, the realization that the arrival of baby is just around the corner, and the summer holidays approaching. When May comes to greet us I get excited to make some strawberry freezer jam, I daydream about eating mom's rhubarb sauce right out of the jar in her kitchen, I make sure we always have popsicles in the freezer, and I savor our evening walks after dinner. On those walks when we watch the sunset from the bluffs, disappearing behind the line of the ocean, I feel like I'm on a vacation.
George is counting down the days 'til his birthday. He has great expectations that come along with turning four. He expects to be bigger and faster and stronger when he wakes up as a four year old.
He also was under the assumption that upon turning four he would be able to drive the car while Travis and I would sit in the backseat! He was quite disappointed to find out that driving will have to wait a few years.
