savoring.

It's hard to believe that in a week and a half our little babe will be introduced to the world.
I really do find it surreal how fast it is all happening.
I feel so thankful that I feel so good, and I really am enjoying the little jabs and rolls and squirms of the little one.
These movements give me bursts of joy throughout the day and often keep me up in the wee hours of the night.
Reminding me that this little baby is here, just content rolling around in my belly.
And soon, in my arms.

Right now, I am really savoring these moments of anticipation.

Enjoying the time hanging out with G...
Relishing in the quiet moments when George is napping and I have an excuse to indulge in my afternoon sweet treat and reading a good book.
Taking the time to go through G's old baby clothes, and folding the new ones, imagining the little person that will soon fill them.
Baking and indulging with my little chef...

Organizing, getting rid of things, setting things up, and nesting as the exciting day approaches.

And now, we just need to come up with some names!!
