What a lovely little getaway we had this morning. Before breakfast Travis, Vincent and I waved goodbye to George and Grammy and drove north along the beautiful coastline to the lush and vibrant town of Montecito. There was a breakfast destination that Travis had picked out for us and I was so pleased that gluten-free options were in abundance. Never have I enjoyed toast with butter and strawberry jam so much while sitting beside the seashore. We also indulged in omelets filled with avocado and ham as Vincent took in the sunshine streaming through the palm branches. He was a content little sidekick as we continued north to Santa Barbara and meandered through town. A lovely morning excursion!
