Why take a picture of such a simple sight?
Because this tastes so very good.
Because it makes me hop out of bed at 6am and skip to the fridge.
Because I am having to pace myself when it comes to pouring this sweet nectar...which usually only happens with the bag of candy sitting on the top shelf not far enough out of my reach.
Because it makes me excited to go to the farmer's market Sunday morning to buy a bigger bag of these local oranges.
Because in the midst of my 'it's a new year, time to clear out the cupboards' I found my juicer Travis bought me years ago and it feels like a new gift.
Because I realize how much pleasure I get from seeing beautiful colors come from something so natural and fresh and these little things bring bursts of happiness to my day.
Because drinking fresh OJ feels like such a California thing to do!
