Last weekend we celebrated George's fourth birthday with some of his buddies at the beach.
No hustling around the house to clean before the guests arrived. Just off to the beach, embracing the sun and the slight breeze that greeted us. Some bagels, coffee, snacks and cupcakes made for a simple brunch.
I think everyone feels relaxed sitting at the beach, sifting their toes through the warm sand and watching the kids chase the waves, and then run from them over and over again.
Some pails, shovels, paper airplanes for all the kids and a little treasure hunt made for a perfect morning!
