It is often during a quiet moment like this when George is having a snack by himself at the table that I am overcome with a wave of love for this little guy.
I remember him sitting here in his high chair, then in his booster, and now on his knees.
A quiet moment on his own.
Sometimes he pipes up with a comment between bites about the hummingbirds he sees outside. Sometimes it's a simple question. Other times the question is too complex for me to answer!
Sometimes it's just an 'mmm' as he enjoys his snack.
Amazing the joy that such a little person can bring.
