A few pictures of the Christmas 'goings on' around here. The music, the baking, the decorations have actually been up for a few weeks now and the funny thing is, they are now in the process of being taken down now as we prepare for our Christmas in Canada.
This Christmas has been a very magical one so far as George is delighted in everything. Along with this delight, comes the questions. The logistics of Santa and the elves are never ending for a four year old and as he ponders our answers, I recall similar conversations when I was a child. Oh the magic of Christmas! In the midst of the traditions and preparations, I want to savour the magic of the season without getting wrapped up in the haste and stress of getting things done that often gets in the way. That said, I have about four projects that have been started that just might have to be given as birthday gifts this year. The ideas have been brewing in my mind for months, the materials were all purchased, and some stitches have even been made. But now I must make the choice...sitting at my sewing table in the last hours before heading home or curled up on the couch, enjoying the Christmas cookies, music and magic around me. I think I'll choose the latter.
Merry Christmas!
