Well this little family of ours is pretty spoiled to have a getaway destination in Palm Desert for the next month. Away from the ocean breeze, along a stretch of highway through the mountains towards the desert where Travis' parents have rented a beautiful little oasis. Palm Desert is such an interesting little town. The brisk cold air in the morning that seems to suddenly change to intense heat at exactly 10am. The snowcapped mountains visible behind the tropical palm trees. The dry, sandy terrain dappled with spiky cactus and vibrant, delicate blossoms. A juxtapose of sorts. A lovely destination indeed!
